DG KICKS BIG BAND - This 17 piece jazz band performs on stage every Tuesday evening from 8PM until 10PM at 3RD STREET located in downtown Reno at 125 West 3rd Street (next to the Eldorado parking garage). The band plays the music of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton and Woody Herman among others and features Reno’s preeminent world class jazz musicians. DG KICKS’ sultry and talented vocalist JAKKI FORD is a crowd pleasing featured artist. Dancers are welcome! If you have never visited 3RD STREET you are in for a real treat. The building was erected 100 years ago to be part of Reno’s original downtown marketplace and fresh produce depot. All of the genuine interior architectural elements are intact and beautifully maintained. Owner/operators Mikkel and Tim are always happy to point out items of particular interest while pouring you one of their very special beverages. Come hear some wonderful exciting big band jazz at Reno’s most fun and friendly music venue. And …. be sure to bring your dancing shoes !
